Lake Fork Owner's Tourney

I leave a week from Tuesday!!!! Got a guide for that Wednesdayt then pre-fishing Thursday and Froday and getting ready for the tourney Saturday and Sunday!!!! Any fellow BBCer's making the trip to Lake Fork?????? I sure can't weait! This will be my longest fishing trip. Hope to catch several personal bests!!!!

That's true couillon. I just booked it and decided not to do the math on how much it costs. Did get the wife a new truck so she couldn't argue too much!!!

I'll be heading up Thurs afternoon after work to prefish friday and get my new rod. But that is a long fishing trip, try to stay cool and goodluck to all.

We're leaving from Kansas City on Wednesday. We caught a break last week when my partner drew a guy in a blind draw buddy tournament that has fished Lake Fork for years. We are meeting with him next week to get some spots marked on our map & to talk about what to expect when we feel that 12 pounder on our rod ;)

So, for those that have been before, does coming from Kansas City even get me in the running for the 'longest distance traveled' prize? I wouldn't think so, but this year, w/ gas the way it is...

My wife and I are going up the Monday. Will be our first trip there and have a guide for Tuesday. Marked my GPS units with spots from Hook-N-Line map. Been planning this trip since last summer when we first started looking at Skeeter. Fishing in south Louisiana has been tough the last couple of years, looking forward to fishing Fork. Fished Fayette Lake a few times when our son was at Schlumberger in Sugar Land, it is also a very good lake. Good luck and hope to see ya'll there.

This will be my first owner's tournament. I'm coming about 8 hours or so. Figure that doesn't get me close to the "farthest traveler". We have a guide for Wednesday. Hope he puts us on them!!!!

Where are ya'll staying? We will be right there at Lake Fork Marina. Bringing the campers with us too.
