Need help with battery charger placement
My stepson just bought a 07 SX 200 and he's trying to find a good place to mount a 3 bank Minnkota charger. I haven't been over to look at the back compartment yet but he said there's really no good place to mount it. Any help would be appreciated. Pictures would be great.

I'll get you some pics in a minute. I have a SX 190 and put mine on the passenger side wall in the back.

Brian, here are my pics. I'm going to assume that you have the same/similar layout in the bilge area as me. Before i had it behind the battery on the floor. When i put my new transducer in i move it to the "wall".

I mounted my charger to the inside transom wall. It is out of the way and frees up space for other items.
Re: Need help with battery charger placement (Brian Craft)
I mounted my under the passenger seat and ran the plug through the side of the boat with a cover over it so all i have to do is plug it in without opening any compartments works awesome
Re: Need help with battery charger placement (POPSICLE_OTR)
In my boat it is mounted on a metal plate the crosses over the bilge.

Hey Couillion,
I have an SX-190 like you and my charger is in the same spot, but I have 2 batteries in that spot. Just wondering if you are running a 24 volt trolling motor or not, and if you are, are you using your cranking battery as one of the 24.
The reason I ask, is I just bought 3 new batteries and wanted to see what you got.
Thanks,

Re: Need help with battery charger placement (fishin couillon)
Thanks for the info. I have 2 on the passenger side, 1 on the drivers side and the oil tank of the drivers side.
Where is your oil tank? Opps........I saw it in your pic above, its in on the bottom.
Its funny how they are rigged a little different.
Thanks and tight lines......
Re: Need help with battery charger placement (Marsh Skeeter)
My oil tank is mounted in the center of the bilge area (between batteries) on a metal plate that spans the bilge. Not sure what year model you have but the only thing i could think about the TM batteries on the passenger side is to distribute the weight when someone is fishing by themselves.
