Striker 4 question

Looking at the Striker 4 unit for my boat. I see that they come with both a transom and trolling motor transducer. I do not want to use the transom transducer, just the trolling motor transducer. Is it possible to use just one transducer? I don't want to drill holes in my transom.
I see that I can buy a thru hull transducer, but it costs 120.00 and I don't want to buy it if I can just use the TM transducer. Any help?

It comes with both trolling motor and transom MOUNTS. Just one transducer.
