I would check and make sure the initial timing is right, and that you are getting full advance when you give it full throttle.

Sounds to me like you need to get the prop worked on to free it up some for the hole shot....
Re: no power on take off 90 GT 150 (Lockjaw)
I was reading some of the other questions and i see people talking about the timing basic and bad coils could that play a role in this, and how can i check then?
I know the prop is fine just had that retuned last fall and never had any problem till i fired it up this spring after being stored.

Check your center carb and see if the roller still has its clear plastic roller on it, and that it is touching the small embossed mark on the cam follower. Then check to make sure the throtle plates are opening fully when you advance the throttle. I'll bet the clear plastic roller has deteriorated.

If you don't use it I would suggest using Seafoam to remove the Carbon Buildups as well as Gum in Carbs and Cylinders. I had the same type problems on my 79 140hp Rude and replaced all the Electronics and still couldn't get it fixed. Shock treated it with Seafoam and now it runs like New. May not fix Yours but it can't hurt trying since It all started after sitting the winter. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif
