zx225 or zx250

I have a chance to buy either at the same cost, if it were you guys which way would you go. IS BIGGER REAL BETTER ?

Bigger is better. I love the extra room on my ZX300.

Which engine is on either boats. I would not buy the zx250 unless it has at least a 250hp on it.

I guess it would depend on how long you plan on keeping it. I would think that a 225 would be easier to sell. But the 250 would be a better ride if you fish rougher water. What years are the boats? New or used?

If you can get the ZX 250 with a 250HPDI for the same price as a ZX225 with a 225HPDI take the ZX 250 ALL THE WAY. That boat runs awesome and handles about anything the water can throw at you.

In that case I would take the 07' zx225. the zx250 is 2 years old.

I have an 06 ZX225. It's an Awesome boat! (my third Skeeter) Trying to decide if I'm going to get a new one next year. It will be a 21I, or ZX250, no doubt about it!

I looked at both, ended up with the ZX250... Better ride in rougher water, huge front deck... Both are probably the same speed. You can probably get the 06 250 for the price of the 07 225....

FYI If you fish small waters the 250 can get a little tight....

look at all the changes on the 07 ZX225, that should help. I would go that way.

I'd go with the 225. I have the 250 and just sold a 225 and the only thing gained on the 250 is storage room and rough water ride. If those are important to you, you know which one to go with. I dont' thing you can buy a better all around boat than the 225. Good luck.
