Is there a lift point on a 2001 johnson 225ho. I am needing to raise my motor up to the last bolt hole. Or what is a recommed way to do this?
Lift ring screwed into the flywheel.
Three of us lifted my brother motor to last hole. One guy stood on either side to steady the motor trimmed the motor down to level, and used a hydraulic jack to EASE the motor up SLOWLY then replaced bolts took 5-10 minutes.
Motor was a 150hp and no jack plate.
