I have a 2005 ZX225 with an EZ Loader trailer with diamond plate on top of the fenders. I think the diamond plating has loosened and makes an awful racket going down the road. Does anyone know of a simple fix or should I just take it to an aluminum shop and have it riveted again. Any help would be appreciated.
is it rattling or squeaking?? reason asking is my '05 EZ Loader squeaks like crazy and I've read posts on here before of other guys saying the same thing. I have sprayed my springs with silicone lube in the past and it quiets it down for a few trips but it doesnt last.
It sounds more like a loose rattle to me, Jay. I will definitely spray my springs and check to see if that makes things quiet down a bit...
get some small pieces of rubber and place it between the plate and the trailer works great!!!
I'd drill the rivets and put stainless bolts, same size as the rivets. New rivets will just get loose again. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
