They are not exactly "Water-Proof". As long as all the channels around the lip at top of compartments are kept clean, and the boat is not left with the bow running down-hill they should not let any water actually run into them. You will probably still have a small amount of moisture build-up in the boxes sometimes. That's the case with all brands of boats that I know of. If water is actually running into a compartment, you have a problem.
That's great.
I am used to aluminum walleye boats and EVERYTHING gets soaked when it rains....a real pain in the @ss.....
I will make sure to double check after it rains though..
Thanks.
Jason.
The compartments under your driver and passenger seat will get water in them when it rains, but for the most part the other compartments stay pretty dry under normal conditions like looking4five said.
I have more of a condensation problem than anything else.... The floor between the seats and console is sort of hard to keep dry though...

Back when I had a SS90 the condensation was terrible. part of the problem was the lids were not insulated. If your boat does not have some insulating material on the inside of the lids, you can just buy some foam rubber type material, and glue it inside the lids. I found it to make a huge difference. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

I have to agree. Was coming home from Toledo Bend this past summer when i came into a BIG rain storm. Everything on top was soaked. But the rod boxes and storage was dry. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif
Jason,
You will not have a problem with your comparments taking on water, a bit of condensation now and then....... But your underseat storage will be soaked.
