I'm thinking there is a problem with your hydraulics if you're feeling any steering torque. The hydraulic system should eliminate ALL the torque. I feel nothing at the wheel, regardless of speed or how hard I'm turning.
I'm at 2.75" below pad, and could probably come up another .25 to .50 inch, based on rpms.

I run a 2006 ZX225 W/225 HPDI and have always had more steering torque than was reasonable. They tell me that the steering system needs to be bled. I have enough torque to make it hard to put the boat ina dock stall at idle. I will be taking it to the new dealer in KC to have them take a look real soon!!
