johnson 115 faststrike,water preasure guage,thermostat location

hello,i have two ?,on a johnson 115 faststrike (eng j115gledr ser g04075894,this is on a stratos 278, will the water pressure gauge work with the muffs on,if the thermost sticks will water still come out of the hole when muffs are on and water running,thanks

Why do you ask?

If the water pressure guage does not work there are several reasons that could cause this.

If the overboard discharge is not (peeing) working it may be clogged with debris, use a 13/16 (spark plug socket or wrench) to remove the fitting and clean the debris.

The same 13/16 spark plug socket or wrench will remove the thermo covers, they are located on the top of both cylinder heads.
