What is this part called on a 2000 Ranger 520?
I have absolutely no idea what to call this part when I contact my local marine store and ask if they have it.
As you can see in the picture one of the covers for the top outboard bolt hole is missing. This allows water to enter the hull when the splash well gets water in it. I was just a very sticky cover that was placed over the hole, I tried to get the other one off and cannot as it is stuck wery well.
Can someone help please? Is this a common part?

Lost one of those on my last Ranger. I ordered a couple from Ranger. I don't have the boat anymore but actually have one left. I will send it to you if you give me your address.

I believe they are the motor mount covers. They used to be caps but now Ranger make the self adhisive covers.

Not the best design. Whenever I retorque my jackplate bolts, I have to silicone them back on. PITA.

Re-torque your jackplate bolts? Why not use a nylok nut with some blue loctite on the nuts and you will never have to do it again. I found some and my local marine store had some they gave me. Still do not know what they are called but they are definately a necessary part as I filled up the back of my boat at the ramp the other day.

I just ordered them from Ranger last week. I believe they were called Transom bolt covers. They cost $1.98 each from Ranger. The total with shipping was a little over $9.00.
