The last thing I want to do to my boat before the season starts is replace the dash panels up front by the trolling motor and on the console. Does anyone have any suggestions on the cheapest/safest way to do this? Does Ranger sell them or can I get some made by a company for cheaper?
Forgot to mention that there are old flashers mounted in the dashes that I do not need. Can I get new panels cut with enough room to fit an HDS5 up front and HDS7 in the dash?
You can get new dash panels from Ranger. Some they have in stock. Some you are just sol... You will have to cut your own openings.
Send me some pics. I may be able to make some panels for you.
the ones from ranger are expensive the bow panel for my 2001 is $91.00 alone
I bought some carbon fiber looking material from mark miller that looks good on the 518 I just sold. You can get a sheet and cut it your self or send him your old dash plates as a template and he will cut it for you. He is a board sponsor think his company is poly-fab plastics but not 100% sure. He sells the pro control recessed trolling motor tubs too I think.
