Anybody have any comments about Power Tech props??
I am trouble shooting trying to get my Z520 and Evinrude ETEC 250HO to run like it used to. I have the new M2 gear case and lost 3-4 mph. I can only run 68-69 fully loaded with a Fury 25 or 26 right now and the prop specialist at Lake Fork suggested a Power Tech 4 blade RKR4. He said most people with my same setup have seen great results. I am just skeptical about buying an aftermarket prop because they are not cheap! Anybody have anything good/bad to say about Power Tech props??

Steve and the guys at PowerTech build good wheels and they have been around for years. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif ...........................RR http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

I tried a 25p Power Tech 4-blade on my 521 a couple years ago. It had been worked by Mark C, so it ran good. I also recently ran a Razor-4. It's the fastest 4-blade I have run so far. I just got my Razor-3. I know it will be a little faster.
I wouldn't worry about running an after market prop. From my experience, they run just as good as factory props. If you want to buy a stock prop, I recommend the Razor. It runs like a blueprinted prop, and it's cheaper. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif
You should also ask about this on the Evinrude motors boars. This isn't the first time I've heard someone complain about losing speed after changing gear cases.

I bought a 4 blade from them a few years back. I called them on the phoneto give them all the details about my boat, engine etc. Those guys were great!! They told me what I needed and my boat preformed very well with the power tech. If you have questions, call them.
