Re: Alarm going off (Fiddlefarter)
Thats how we check the head temps, should be 140-160*, Before you start disconnect all the alarm circuts, port/starboard tan wires, vacuum switch tan wire, low oil connector and VRO connector now with the motor running on the Muffs, start connecting them back one at a time you'll find the offender.
Re: Alarm going off (Fiddlefarter)
My 96 did that, and it turned out to be a fuel restriction, although I have the system check gauge. I had some trash in the fuel filter. Not sure where it came from either.
Seems to me if you have SLOW, and it gets hot, its going to shut it down, same with oil. I would be looking at fuel first if it was me.
Re: Alarm going off (Lockjaw)
I was just a little hacked off at it yesterday... I know can find the problem with a little effort. Thanks for the start guys. Probably get into to it Sunday if I can't sneak away from work early today.
