Even if I wanted to(which I don't), I couldn't. It is already out of the mold and should be in rigging as we speak. I'll see it Thursday
Re: Colors Heads Up (721 Pro XP)
Just some thoughts:
If you are concerned, resolve the issue with brighter color clothes or hat.
These items are higher off the water and some sort of bright color would be seen better.
Either way the best solution is to be absolutely sure of clear water ahead when going on plane. Drive when you drive...fish when you fish...
Also there are many boaters out there who do not have a clue of the rules of the road. I almost got ran over the other day by a pontoon boat who did not see me and, when he did, he looked at me like I should have avoided him and I was stopped and fishing in shallow water!

Re: Colors Heads Up (falcooon)
Good thing you had the super powered SHO rocket launcher Les or we'd be reading a sad tale about you.
The bad news; tons of morons on the water and more coming....
The good news; you can anticipate some of them, and most if not always outrun the rest. Put the trouble behind you I say and w/250 horses and a LOT of torque the SHO lets you do just that in these rigs.
SHO them the way to conflict avoidance, put the hot foot down and get away from them.
Re: Colors Heads Up (lknbassman)
The big high powered SHO don't help much if you are fishing a point and a boat is barreling down on you running 60's or higher.
Just keep your eyes open for anyone running your way, don't assume that they see you.
I agree with bright clothes or jacket!!!!

Re: Colors Heads Up (Redtom)
Don't wear orange. Have you ever noticed how many of the orange barrels get ran over on the road. You are bound to get hit if you wear it. Might be better to wear the chartreuse. With reflectors for night safety.

Yes it does. It's naturally intimidating http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
Re: Colors Heads Up (lknbassman)
Falcoon and I live around Lake Conroe...the idiot to boat owner ratio is very, very high here.
I am pretty sure that I have fell into that category once or twice myself.
Re: Colors Heads Up (Sktr#22)
I hear you loud and clear. Lake Norman has over 55,000 yes, 55,000 registered boats on it or around it and it's 55,000 Acres. That's a LOT of boats on a pretty good sized lake that gets a LOT smaller when they all start running in different directions and at what speed? Yep, Wide A** Open.....
You guys are right, keep one eye on your line and the other over your shoulder. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
