My son has his heart set on getting a new Z8 with all the bells and whistles. Add it all up and you are looking at close to 50 K. Financing is his only option. Just wondering if any of you folks went through BPS and what was your experience with them, or did you just go through your local bank. And please no lectures on paying cash. Thanks
I did it. It seemed like I was just another number to them. I didn't care, I was just happy to go fishing. The rates are the same or close (+) or (-) 1. I think it was easier to get the loan, I''m sure Tracker Marine does a lot of loans and has a lot of different programs. You can get a Z-9 that already has the bells and whistles (minus a bow depth finder) for under 50K.
50 K seems like alot to me, give us some details on all the bells and whistles you are talking about. Also there is a BBC sponsor that does financing and from what i have heard his rates are pretty good, i believe the company is called Reclending, doesnt hurt to look him up. I would recommend getting another price Apples to Apples, and check out the BBC boats for sale section to get some kind of price comparison. Good luck.
Wow you got a lot of options on it, but when you consider TTL also i'm sure its not hard to do. I have some of my boat financed thru tracker. I tried others but it was just easier to go thru tracker.
It wouldn't hurt to check around. I'm not reccomending your son do this but if he has an equity line on a house the rates are around 2% or so. I used that option and will have the boat paid off in 2 years with the payments I'm making. I think it was like a 4% spread over the rates for that versus financing the boat.

I just went with REClending as well. Even with my excellent credit and downpayment they still smoked my local Credit Unions rates and terms. REC is a lending broker. They have numerous lenders and will find the right one that suits your needs.

Good luck.</td></tr></table> BPS in Gurnie Ill. has a 2011 Z8 with a 250 on the back for 37,400. Add 2 power poles, hydraulic jack plate, update trolling motor to 101lbs, and update electronics, along with tax and reg, and were talking around 46,000. There are a few other options he is looking at as well. He figures if he doesnt get everything on it right away he may never. Thanks for the replies.

Plus I would definitely look very closely at a year or two old boat on the for sale boards. Reclending can get great rates on uses boats as well.
