Single or Double Axle Trailer for Alpha 191?
Looking for some perspective from those that have either...
For those that have a dual axle, why did you choose it over a single axle. I remember having a double axle trailer and it being a beast to move around compared to a single axle trailer. I have a rather tight area to get in my garage (where it will be kept) and there are times when I have to pull straight in, disconnect the boat and spin it 180 degrees by hand in order to get it in. I do it with my Z7 now without trouble when needed, but it is a single axle trailer.
I dont trailer very far, typically my farthest trip is about 150 miles one way. Most times is less than 5!
Thanks for your help
Jay

Single would be fine, just make sure your spare is properly inflated and you have the tools necessary to replace the wheel.

Single axle is MUCH easier to move around in garage. Unless you are traveling over a 100 miles each weekend to fish it will be perfect. Swing away tongue is a must.

Agree 100%. 19' boat would be fine on a single axle. Swing away tongue is a must have.
