LE to ALPHA transition

I know that there was some side wall and hull changes made to the legends coming from the LE series to the ALPHA series. what year did the big changes come. Im interested in the spray coming off waves. What year did this take place i guess is my question http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
