Evinrude 150 Intruder Problem Part 2

Fishing yesterday morning, it goes through its usual bout of sputtering then hard miss running wide open. Fish a spot for about 2 1/2 hours, take off, make it about 300 yards missed and shut down. Pumped the fuel bulb back up, tried cranking on it for a few minutes, did not want to start. Finally just kept cranking on it til it started. Revved it up and down. Ran fine the rest of the day. The worst part was when it died i was running wide open and the sudden stop just saturated the back of the boat. does what i have just explained tell you anything more about the nature of my problem?

i asked him, it was the replacement part. i think sierra.

I would suggest when you replace a pack on these motors you also replace the EET (optical sensor) and vise versa.

personally I wouldn't get anything but an OCM/Bbomb power pack

Got both parts today, hopefully putting the optical sensor on won't be a PITA.
