Re: Outlaw JP ?? (Meyers)
i would go with the 8 inch hydraulic..the boat could run a 10...but then you get into maybe needing new cables...the 8 will be good for that rig...

Yup, start with a 8, he can can always add Bobs 2 inch spacers http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Re: Outlaw JP ?? (TheDuke)
i had a 10" bobs hydraulic on my 2003 Outlaw with a 2002 225 EFI...
the extra set back DOES NOT HELP THE OUTLAW....
the 6" bobs hydraulic will do fine....
Re: Outlaw JP ?? (low slung cruiser)
Curious, what was the problem with the extra setback on the Outlaw?
I took the 5 off and added the 10 and it seems much better then before, especially out of the hole. Outlaw is pretty close to my Intim.

I am just guessing but I think all Outlaws were rated for a 200 so with the 225 on the back it probably behaved totally different. The EFI is a strong motor!
Re: Outlaw JP ?? (Meyers)
Had no issues with a 10" on my old Outlaw. Boat started out with a 200 2.5L, then a 225 promax, then a 250xs and sold it with a 225 proxs.
Re: Outlaw JP ?? (Gamblurr man)
the extra set back DID nothing on mine to enhance the performance...only thing i could tell is that gave it more bow lift, but wasn't necessary because to get max speed, i would have to tuck the bow back down after it got on last pad...
