Where is the fuse panel on the Gambler? I think I crossed the wiring on the trolling motor and maybe blew a fuse. I hope that is what it is cause the trolling motor will not run now.

do you have small breakers on the posts of your trolling batteries? I would check there first
There is something on the batteries. I guess they are breakers. Black square looking things. Can you tell I'm new to this. The reason I switched the leads on the batteries is because the motor was running faster on 12v than on 24v.
It's all good man, this is a good place to learn quickly. there should be some small little buttons on the sides or bottom of the breakers. just push them both in and see if that gives you power.
the old gamblers had the self reseting breakers if it did not reset it may be blown
Where is the resetting breakers located? Are you talking about the ones on the batteries?
yeah the ones on the battery. if there getting old might want to replace them, rusty, corroded ect.. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
I replaced them and also the female connection on the boat where the trolling motor plugs in and still no power to the trolling motor. I might need a new T/M.
That female connector cost almost 50.00. I thought that I had burned it up when I crossed the wires. I guess not.
do u have a meter? if so test to see if your getting 12 volts threw the plug on the front of the boat. Then you will now for sure if motor or wiring
