Whats the Latest on the Sterling???
My friend from KY who has the Sterling with the SHO loves his Sterling but there have been no more photos or post by the owners of these boats since they bought them. There has been enough time now for the new owners to try different props etc for more speed, empty & loaded.Has anyone bought or tested a 300 on one.I love seeing the photos of the newest ones & would like to here more from the owners on this site about likes & dislikes(if any) of the Sterling.Mike couldn"t stay off of this site when they were comming out with all of the info he had & now it"s like "Did this boat die or something?"Please keep the info & photos comming on this beautiful boat.

Hey guys, all I can say is the Sterling is awesome! I am running a 250XS with a 28 Bravo - 2 guys half tank of fuel and loaded to the gills with gear and she will run 83-84 little less with the humidity now. The best thing about it is how it handles rough water - by far the best rough water bass boat I have ever seen.

At almost 22ft I would think it should ride well. How does it fish? How does it pull? Does anything rattle while you are running? Livewells keep fish well? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif
Re: Whats the Latest on the Sterling??? (traybird)
I think it is about the same feel as the 22' Gambler as far as fishing, just a little wider which is nice. Pulls great - nothing loose on this rig, very very solid. The livewells are excellent, while running you are constantly getting fresh water to the fish-no worries about dead fish. One of the best features are the storage compartments in front of the driver and passenger windshields - probably my favorite addition to the new rig (HDS 10 in the dash is also nice). The two biggest complaints I heard from people were ride and storage, they have both been taken care of.

sounds like a solid boat to me... I would love to have the seats out of it.
