Looking at buying a 1900 outlaw with a 150 promax (1998 year model)
I have had 2 Bullets and have never ridden in a Gambler, but I do like the big decks for fishing and this is a very clean older Gambler. I think it is a 1998 hull and 1998 150 promax. You guys feel the 3 liter motors are better on Gamblers. How about on the 1900 Outlaw? this is roughly a 18 foot boat. I wondered what kind of holeshot and performance this current setup will give? what is the max HP motor for this boat? Is this a good boat for big reservoir fishing? Is the 1900 Outlaw a good stable ride ? Thanks for helping me as I know nothing about Gamblers other than they look really COOL !!!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

i have the 98 outlaw w/ a 150 efi.depends on your prop and set up what kinda holeshot and performance you'll get. i can tell you w/ the right set up both will be great.you cant compare this intermediate size boat to the larger hulls, but it rides well and takes rough water o.k. its not a big water boat but w/ common sense you can manage. fairly stable unless you get two big people on the edge.fishability is great.

Thanks for everyone's help. You have a great board here. BBC guys are always good to help out in the decisions. I am going to buy the Gambler ! I'll let you know what kind of numbers I get. Any ideas on props? I like four blades......what about a 24 trophy with this setup? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
