I have a 2005 etech ho. I know you don't service it for 3 years. Should I change the lower unit fluid. I used to run Merc and I changed the fluid twice a year.
Just want to do the right thing?

Even with the 3 years 300 hours no service it would be a good practice to check the fluid from time to time and also remove the prop and check for fishing line, if the line cuts the seals you could get water in the gearcase. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Excellent advice, as you never know if you've just wrapped up some line in the propshaft. Be forever checking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
THANKS, I FRIEND OF MINE JUST HAD SOME REPAIRS CAUSED BY FISHING LINE. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif
