gelcoat/fiber glass repair in Houston area
Well, I knew it would happen sooner or later to my Gambler http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/crying.gif , and it happened yesterday. While doing some scouting on lake Conroe, I caught a stump on the port side chine. I was idling, so no major damage to the lower unit. The stump slid off of the trim tab and caught the chine on the trailing edge. After putting the boat on the trailer, we found a spot about 3"x 1/2" where the gelcoat had cracked and come off exposing the fiberglass under it. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/sick.gif
http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif Can anyone recomend a good shop in the Houston area that can fix it?
Thanks in advance for your help

How hard was it to get? I have heard some horror stories about dealing with them. Do you remember who you talked to?
