seat post
http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif one of my adjustable pedistal seat post turns inside when i screw it in making it neerly impossible to unscrew and get out, it just turns & turns not getting anywere,...is there any fixing it or do i need a new post?... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif

I will have to look at mine to be sure. But I believe you could cut about a 1/16 groove around the bolt that sticks out and weld around it then grind it back flat. It'll be better than new.

Turn the post upside down and rinse the threaded part and the mating post surface down with some good quality "Brake Clean" . Then get some Green Loctite and let it wick around the stud and place it aside and let it dry overnight.. That Green Loctite can only be loosened by heating it with a torch, good stuff....
