Hi ,I recently acquired an old 20 hp johnson with no tag on it it has a black and red shroud on the side the side of the block is rounded compared to a newer white 20hp , I was wondering how the water circulated through this motor ,I am not sure where the water comes out there is no water outlet on the bottom of the block ,does it come out by the prop?
You need to do a little better on the description. The whole engine white, light green, dark green with white shroud?, a picture would do it. Most of the water goes out the lower unit, exhaust snout ?, thru prop exhaust?, and some goes out the exhaust relief hole. Try again.
