Love the HP but want a different boat?
Lakes here call for a tough boat, lots of rock and rough water but also want to be able to go real skinny water??????????
Tunnel hull?? Any ideas??????
I like the bass boat lay out over most others Deep V would be better for the rough water but want to go shallow in the back creeks as well.

Tunnel hull jet should get you into skinny water.

Sure wood but a real bummer loosing all that power because of the jet. Boat needs to be big as well to handle the rough stuff and big rollers

I have the 1860 CCT tunnel hull (prop) and its a great boat. You lose some top end speed, but you can bang it into anything and run pretty skinny. I don't really need the tunnel, I don't run as many rivers as I had thought I would, but its still a nice boat. I'm actually thinking about selling it for a side console 1860 in the near future.

Why do you loose top end speed with the tunnel?
