Question on location poll
Just a question that may help with determining the site for the possible "T". Since Texas is such a big state, do you think it would be better to break it into regions? If most of the Texas owners are in the NE portion of the State, that would lend itself to an Ark lake better than if 6 out of the 7 votes were out Abilene, Midland, San Angelo. I doubt if you would get too many to drive that far. (11 hrs of hard driving from here to Mountain Home) If most of the Texas votes were in the western to Southern part of the state, I think it skews the numbers a little.
Just a thought since I believe you are looking for a centralized location for the greatest number of owners.
Re: Question on location poll (Tx 201)
Sales of Cobra boats would indicate that most were sold in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisianna. Seems like someplace in the SW corner of Arkansas might to a good location that would draw from those areas and make the drive reasonable for all that plan on attending. I'm not familiar with any lakes in that area but have heard that Millwood isn't too bad, but I really can't say. On the other hand if this gathering is going to be in the heat of the summer maybe one of the river systems down in that area would be the ticket. Trying to fish Bull Shoals or Norfork during the "dog days" of summer can make fishing pretty tough...heck those lakes are tough regardless of the weather. JMO, which doesn't count for much!
Re: Question on location poll (Backlash Ar)
Larry,
Your opinion always matters!! Just if you come to the T with a Ranger, we'll have an honorary (or honery!) Cobra sticker to put on your boat!!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
By the way, how did you end up with a Cobra all the way up in Wis.?
Re: Question on location poll (Tx 201)
I would like to see it like on greers ferry or something in central Arkansas

Probably going back to fork next spring (March or April). Made my first trip there this year and absolutley fell in love with it. I imagine it's the same feeling muslims get when they first arrive at Mecca!
