Seastar hoses

Anybody know what length of hoses are required for Hydraulic steering on a 96 201? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif

I'm converting and my boat is over in storage room and this might save me a trip! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif

I am thinking that they are either 12 or 14 feet long. It's been a while but I would go with the 14 foot hoses. Hope I'm right http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif

I have not gotten the kit yet. I just got the measurement this weekend.
I was looking to get the kit online, and found a price of about a $1000 for the Pro kit with hoses and tilt helm!

I'm up at Rayburn and Toledo quite a bit! Don't fish much on Conroe, not much luck when i do! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif

Cabela's is a very reputable company similar to Bass Pro Shops.

I noticed you live just down the road in The Woodlands. I actually live on Lake Conroe so it is my lake of choice most of the time. Although I used to bass fish exclusively, now days I seem to spend more time fishing for crappie or hybrids. I have kids (ages 12 and 8) so it seemed easier to start them with live bait. Plus, bass fishing can be tough on Conroe at times.

I like to fish Rayburn from time to time, but it seems to get tougher every time I go. I wonder if all the tourney pressure is starting to take a toll on it.

I know what you meen about Rayburn. I used to fish it a lot, but have been spending more and more time on Toledo. I guess it's big enough to handle the pressure.

It looks like the glass is delaminating from the top of the stringers, but if i want to do anything about it i will have to cut the flooring in front of the seats and patch the flooring back in http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/sick.gif

That's a good looking boat. I still don't know how to put a post a photo, but you can see my boat in the "post a photo of your boat" posting. I have a 97 202 Coral Teal green and white with a Johnson.

My tip for today is...stay inside by the fire...it's 30 degrees outside. Brrrr.

The Posting pics part is fairly easy. I use snapfish to post my pics.

Once you move the picutres to the web, Then right click on the picture and copy the url. Then hit the image button on the post and put the url between the img's.

Just a thought on a possible repair to try for that delamination if you are trying to avoid cutting it out. I have used a really like a product called Clear Penetration Exoxy Sealer (CPES). Search it or go to Rotdoctor.com. The product I mention may or may not be the best one they have for your problem. I would contact them and ask their opinion. For a similar but smaller problem than yours, I once drilled small holes into the delamination and injected the CPES into the glass and the repair worked out well. CPES is very liquid when mixed, like diesel fuel. If it were mine, I would think trying the injections in several stages allowing for it to cure between applications (cant remenmber, but I think 24 hours) until it fills the void space in the glass should help. The CPES is designed to repair rotted wood by penetrating into the grain so it takes a long while to cure thus giving it ample time to soak in. It may or may not be able to build up into the glass in your case but with a couple of applications, I think it would.
