Re: Seastar hoses (FishMoore)
I am thinking that they are either 12 or 14 feet long. It's been a while but I would go with the 14 foot hoses. Hope I'm right http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif
Re: Seastar hoses (Cleveland)
Thanks Kathy
I'll guess I'll have to go and check to make sure, but it sounds about right!
Re: Seastar hoses (FishMoore)
Well
I went and measured for the hoses today.
Kathy was right 14" will be the right length for the hoses. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif
Thanks for the help!
Hopefully this will be useful for someone converting Hydraulic steering like i am! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
Re: Seastar hoses (FishMoore)
Converting to power steering has been on my wish list for a while now.
Let us know how the project goes.
Also, what did the seastar kit cost and where did you buy it?
Good luck!
Re: Seastar hoses (jay's snake)
I have not gotten the kit yet. I just got the measurement this weekend.
I was looking to get the kit online, and found a price of about a $1000 for the Pro kit with hoses and tilt helm!
It was a guy on e-bay. i am very leary of buying off e-bay! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
Re: Seastar hoses (FishMoore)
Just food for thought: Why not check with some of the Marine Dealership's that sponsor the BBC. Might be worth your time! http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
Re: Seastar hoses (Backlash Ar)
That is a good idea. Have you dealt with any of them in particular? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif
