Re: help me out (moose288)
Moose, first things first.....Welcome to the Cobra Forum, glad to have you stop by. I just sent you an Instant Message. Did you get it? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif If not, you need to turn your pop-up blocker off. The BBC has its own pop-up blocker so no need to worry. IM's are actually pop-ups, so if you don't turn your blocker off you won't get any IM's from the BBC.

Hi Jeff http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
Where exactly are the fractures behind the passenger seat located ?? somewhere on the cap ?? Are they in the gel only or do they run thru the metal flake ? Kinda hard to give you a price on what it would cost to have them fixed. Do they look real bad ?
Re: help me out (moose288)
Probably the prop needs to be re-cupped. Sounds like it has lost it's bite and you are getting a lot of slip. I have a '00 201 with a 23 Trophy Plus and a 200 EFI. Boat runs great, but I think a 25 would be a little much, depends on your altitude and how you are going to run your boat.
One other thing to think about is at this time of the year, (summer) you are not going to see good numbers like you would in the fall/winter/early spring. Two strokes like to run in cooler air. By the way, my boat runs best at 3/8 trim and I am 3.5 or 3.25 below the pad on a 8" jackplate. I don't want to spend the money on a 15" JP to gain a few MPHs. Lightly loaded I could hit 69 BEFORE I put a skeg guard on it, lost about 4 mph dragging that thing behind the boat. Oh well, I am sure it has saved me money in repairs.
