What's the deal with the pro staffers? shouldn't they be on here telling us
stories about all the fish they are cathcing with there Cobra's?
I'm kindof thinking i should've checked into that a little more on the onset
of Venom boats, are there any perks? i know i have a couple guys looking
for boats in the club right now and they are both considering a cobra if
they can find the right deal.

I agree with your theory! That was my idea about posting pictures of big fish with your rig in the shot, something in common with fisherman in our pursuit of big fish and a cobra logo in the background.
Denny Brauer isn't always talking about how great his Ranger is, he talks the most about what he is doing to catch fish, the fact you see him doing it out of a Ranger doesn't hurt Ranger sales, or Roland with Triton, and Gary Yamamoto with Legend.
Postive exposure goes a long way, negative pressure sure turns you off no matter how good the product.

Boats don't catch fish they just get you there, either quickly and smootholy or quickly and rough. I read your posts and wonder what you think the job of a pro staff person is. He is there to help sell boats, give you rides if you desire, and of course talk fishing. If you have some club members interested in purchasing a boat, please ask them to email me, I would be pleased to talk boats and pricing with them, I am sure we could work out a deal, and that is my job as the owner of this company. I also like to fish tournaments and sometimes just get up and go run my boat and feel the fresh air blowing through what small amount of hair I have on my head. Please don't be tough on the pro staff people, they are just following my instructions. Call me if you guys need anything, I will try and help you as much as I can.

Hey I thinks it AWSOME that the OWNER of the company comes on BBC and actually reads what YOU guys post and probably takes into consideration/implements ideas that you the owners/fishermen want out of a boat. You can't beat that. To heck with the pro staffers when you have the actual owner of the company chatting with you! The only other board I've seen anyone on from the company is Basscat and I don't think it's the owner. Thats a company (Venom) that is customer oriented all the way and will build a huge following.
Can you see the president of Ranger boats or Triton come on here and post messages? Won't never happen.

Thanks for the nice remarks, it is fun to read the comments, and return comments to statements and questions ask. I don't always have the answer to questions and have to forward questions to my staff, but they are a great bunch of people. We are making every endeavor to meet the demands and produce a quality product. Talk with you soon

I would like to reply about the Pro Staff question regarding the person in Kentucky that bought a boat and then was put on Pro Staff, actually it was the Weber boys, you can see them on the Pro Staff page, they are Federation Junior Anglers, and it was our decision to place them on Jr Pro Staff because both of these boys can catch fish, they are truly young gentlemen and posess the ability to become young professionals. I personally met with these boys and their parents, great parents great boys, and a great opportunity to let people know that Venom Boats backs the Junior Angler program. The same holds true to tournament anglers that purchase a new Cobra, we certainly want to assist them and we normally will place them on our Pro Staff, especially if they fish tournaments. You guys are the back bone of this company, we are only as good as the boat owners that support this company, and believe me we truly appreciate your support and input.

Some times it not about fishing. I have spent more time towing my Cobra to dealers in the area trying to generate interest! I think you all need to go a bit easier on the staffers we are working hard to keep Cobra going. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/glasses.gif
Tim, I agree owners are the ones we need to be looking after, Answering questions and helping the get the boat set up ect... When you talk to me on the water or at a tournament were talking fishing unless you are asking about The Cobra.
