Can somebody tell me if the gas tank in a 2006 Champ has a fuel gauge mounted on top? If yes, any advise on how to best/easiest way to get to it? I don't think my fueld gauge on the dash is reading accuratley and wanted to verify. Thank you in advance!

Remove the upper part of your seats and the top panel. What I mean by top panel is towards the top of the rise behind the seats. It is screwed in also. The sending unit is mounted on the top of the tank and you will be staring at it
3 Screws along driver seat, 3 screws on passengar seat. About 5 accross the back of the seats and possibly two or three under the seat. The whole frame will come out with the seats attatched. The sending unit is easy to get to after you get this removed.
I do not trust mine at all when it gets below a 1/4. The "L" shaped tanks can be puzzling. The gas guage move real quick for the 1st 10 gallons or so till it gets to the main part of the tank, then it moves pretty slow.
