Power Pedestals - Snap Lock or Spring Lock
Gonna be replacing my pedestals on my 2000 171....with the power type....I notice Swivl-eze offers two different types...will either of these models work ok?....or is one better than the other?...will either one of them actually lock in?....

Re: Power Pedestals - Snap Lock or Spring Lock (Rackman)
You need the Swivel Eze Snap Lock unless you replace the bases. I had to replace my front base during my recarpet job and I modified a Spring Lock to accept both. That stainless Springfield is 'purdy' http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif

if you need or would like the black ones, this guy has them.. He was the only one that I could find with Black, and his price isn't too bad.
