At a certain age you need things check out Right?
Ok, so the old champ will be 6 this spring, (what do u think I was gonna talk about ...LOL) so I decided to have her checked out. Everything went great, installed a recessed trollin motor tray, new filters,impeller,lube,tune-up,CDS Diagnostics run, changed the water seperator filter. Pretty much the whole nine yards. Now I'm runnin a 2005 206 w/250HPDI, what stuck out was it had 204 hrs on it, here is the break down:
0-1000 r/min 130.7 hr
1000-2000 r/min 16.8 hr
2000-3000 r/min 1.5 hr
3000-4000 r/min 50.1 hr
4000-5000 r/min 5.6 hr
5000-6000 r/min 0.1 hr
6000-7000 r/min 0.0
So what does all this mean, my wife is my partner 99.9 % of the time, and I told her that although she catches a lot of fish, this proves she is a wuss as far as boat speed goes, and needs to let loose and let the big dog run.
Guys, if something like this ever comes up in a conversation with your wife, may I suggest a better choice of words needs to be used

It means you need to get her a face shield and air that baby out now and then. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/newyear1.gif

Thats just it I don't troll, I guess you could call it getting out of the boat lanes, and crusing the lower unit eating infested waters of Lake Fork, looking for humps, ridges, creek bends, drops, stock tanks, tank dams, brush piles, or just about any other thing that will hold fish. The lake just ain't what it used to be. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

I have the same problem looking at side finder too much!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif Don from Merc board told me to run it and let it eat, after trolling around to blow it out these motors are made to run!!
