what year is my rude?

Rude guys, I have (I think) a 97 Rude 150 ficht intruder. Here are the #'s I find on it;
484435 30GYI
00011361
PN 586308

98 EC Update 5001212

I also have the pinned heads. I thought 97 didn't get the pinned heads. What is the update listed? I don't know what the actual sn is....1st # comes off back of motor, second # comes off a bracket on the head. Any info you can give me would be much appreciated.

One other question, does the intruder have any more hp verses a standard 150?

Those aren't serial numbers. Look at the port side of the swivel bracket by the transom area for the model number on a tag.

I have a feeling that you have a 1998 powerhead on either a '97 or '98 midsection.

Thanks. I'll check it out over the weekend. No problems with it, I was just going over everything, lubicating the throttle linkage, and noticed the pinned heads. Any idea what the update is?
