BFL All American...

… was on TV over the weekend and the guy who taught me how to fish in the old Red Man series popped up in 2nd place… Tee Watkins was the guy I used to fish the Red Man (Mountain Div.) with out of Prestonsburg KY– His wife (Sharon) was on TV with him… This is a big time tournament and he finished in 2nd place winning $30,000… He missed 1st by 5-lbs or so that paid $120,000… ‘ol Tee is a hell of a fisherman… His only problem is he fishes an 'R' boat but it seems to have paid off over the years for him in contingency money...

Man I was running all over the house yelling for my wife to come watch it and now I’m telling all my fishing buddies I personally know a real PRO… I actually fish against a young kid (Nick Smyers) in some local tournaments here who finished 2nd at the TBF Nationals on Bull Shoals last year (missed the Living the Dream deal by ounces on day-3) and the same thing happened when he popped up on the TV… Difference is, I have beaten him a few times, but ‘ol Tee is the best fisherman I ever knew & taught me about everything I know…

One day I expect to see some of of you folks on TV….

LOL, I was on the same show....netting some of Richie Eaves' fish on day 3. I watched the show and there are 3 really good shots of the back of my head! LOL
