Actually a 98 trailer would have been made by Dri Doc. Unfortunately, they are no longer in business. Contact Lyn O dyer on the towing forum, he can put you in touch with the right person.

They supply almost the entire industry with axels and brakes call them and they will give you all your options. Save the middle man mark up and go straight to the distributor.

Re: My wheel fell off! (Royjulius)
Well I got it fixed. It cost $500bucks! I couldn't find anyone who had the an exact replacement. Because of the the shock mounts everywhere I went they told me they would have to have it made and it was going to take two-three weeks and cost 4-5 hundred plus tax and freight. I finally found a shop to weld on a new spindle. The 500 was for cutting off the old spindle and welding on the new one plus new hubs, bearings, bearing buddy's for both sides. So I have for the most part new axle but I get to go fishing this weekend!
All in all this was a $#ity experience, I was told not to use the bearing buddy's because you can blow out the back seal and that is what most likely what caused it to happen in the first place.
Re: My wheel fell off! (Stick-in-it)
What do they say to use instead of B Buddy's?
Re: My wheel fell off! (Royjulius)
Just to pull the hub and repack the bearings once a year.
Re: My wheel fell off! (Stick-in-it)
Be sure to replace the other leaf spring especially if its a single leaf!

There is a link to a thread about the Dri Doc spring recall in my Links to other ChampioN pages on BBC & Useful Info thread pinned near the top of the forum page. There is also information there for the TI recall.

Re: My wheel fell off! (Stick-in-it)
Fine line between not enough grease in a BB and too much. Some don't know that you can't just keep pumping the grease until the blue ring pops out. Done without thinking, they can blow a seal. Sometimes you have to rock the blue ring with your finger when you fill it
