Are the prices on NADAguides.com for Champs to low? It seems most I see for sale are listed way more than what NADA shows.
Contemplating selling mine but don't have a clue what to even ask.

NADA is a joke that ony dealers use to milk you out of your trade in. Search boats in the same year, model, and condition and base your price on that. I tried to trade in my 2003 206 elite and a ranger dealer told me it was worth 16,000 dollars. I told him he was on crack and don't worry about seeing me again. Sold it a week later for a 1,000 less that I was asking. You have a champ and people now how the run, ride, and perform. Someone will want what you have. Just be patient.

NADA is no joke if you are taking out a loan. 80% of retail is what most banks max loan is for used boats. Of course there are exceptions, but that is the general acknowledgment.

When I got my boat a few years back, just printed out the NADA quote and showed the bank, and they gave me a check for 80% of that, plus tax and registration fees. Just remember to check all the extras on the NADA quote...
I agree about the check options, and usually that will raise the price. You can't get my boat for anything less than what Iam willing to sell it for. At this point it is a valuable item to me.( The Original CHAMPION) http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif
Haven't checked recently but when I bought my barely used '03 21SX two years ago, the NADA value was at least $2k more than what I paid from a reseller.
Good info to know--thanks
