Re: Champion convert story (Lea)
I keep looking for one Lea. But just haven't really found one that catches my eye yet. It will be an older one, something that I can just about pay cash for. I can't fish like I used too. With the kids playing sports, especially the youngest, I am busy every weekend. The youngest has really stepped it up a notch in her soccer along with her team. They are playing a tourney in KC this weekend with teams from the east coast flying in to play.
I'm hoping all this will pay off and someday I will be sitting in the stands watching her play for KU. Right now she is practicing 3 nights a week. Once with her team and 2 times on her own with a trainer. She is only 11 so that really shows dedication on her part and the least I can do is give up some things for her.
But I would like to have something so that when I decide to fish I can take out with the kids. It was tough making the transition from 3-4 times a week on the water to 3-4 times a year.
I'm eyeing a black and silver 184 right now. It has the price tag I like and a "newer" engine on it. Looks to be in pretty good shape. Just wish it had a 175 on it instead of a 150.
We'll see.
