FLW College Fishing- Guntersville

I fish on the University of Tennessee's bass fishing team and we fished Guntersville this Saturday. The Stren pro we got paired up with ran a Bass Cat Sabre. Let me tell you, I now have more reasons than ever to own a Champion. Even though mine is OLD...I like it a ton more than a Bass Cat. Sure wish I could land a sponsorship to get me into a new one. We ended up coming in 3rd with 14-03 and move onto the regional on Lake Monroe in Florida. If any of you have fished it let me know. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif

Nice job guys. I missed my calling I guess. I played college football - got beat up on a daily basis, and now live with sore ankles and a bad neck http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif . I would have loved to be part of a collegiate bass fishing team. I don't know if I would have been any good - I love to fish, but catchin' em, well that's a different ball game. Keep it up - who knows Skeet, KVD, and all those other guys started somewhere. And you are right, Champions are one fine rig - regardless of the age !!!
