2007 Champ 183 trailer sqeaks!
My trailer leaf springs are now sqeaking fequently, both sides are doing this. I don't want to take it back to my dealer but rather render a fix on my own. Anyone use WD 40 or anything else to correct this problem?
What works best and how long before it returns once gone?

silicone spray or White Lithium grease in a spray can will work.....mine did the same thing for a while i used the silicone spray since we had it here at work

White lithium for sure.....use a screwdriver to pry the sping leafs apart for good coverage. That'll fix it. WD40 won't last long.....the Lith will usually last all season.

Thanks guys I will give it a try this weekend. A pal said "try clear motorcycle chain oil as it will be invisible and not sling". No problem got a can in the garage as I use on my Harley.
Thanks

Common thing, oil or grease will do the trick. It won't happen instantly , but it will stop. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Jack one side up at a time, that will help spread those springs out for great penetration.
If you own a Harley I know you own a jack. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
