Opinions on this boat please!
04' 206 W/04 OPTI 225. 75 hrs just serviced...I know the Tech who serviced it and he says all is well. Low 520 C in dash...Nothing in bow...Min 101...Overall good condition...It was purchased by a dealer at repo auction and he used it as his personal boat..He seems like an OK guy but I never trust a dealer...I think I can steal it for 18-19k...I know it is underpowered...65 loaded would be ok w/me if that is realistic..The trailer is really nice dual disc and shocks...Thanks to all who respond! http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

I'd run the serial number on the motor, you could always have another tech give it a going over. Personally I like dealing with folks I trust. It's just a matter of time owning a boat until you really NEED a good dealer.
When it comes to boats "In Todd I trust" http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
If the motor checks out then you can buy an aftermarket extended warranty at the price you're getting that rig for. I just sold a 04 187/175 combo for that price range six months ago! Can you have the two star rated 225 Opti in CA???
Like I said if all checks out and you can reigsiter it there go fer it at that price. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif

He is an Automotive dealer not Marine...The closest Champ dealer is about 200 miles...He is willing to sell cheap because he paid 14k two years ago at auction. He says he only used the boat around six times since..Yes 2 star ok as long as originally sold in Cali.

There has to be a Merc dealer near you, they are everywhere. If I am not mistaken that boats hull warranty was only transferable for five years after the original purchase. Any Genmar dealer can do repairs on the hull when/if you ever need them. Post the engine serial number over on the merc board and Sherm or one of our other fantastic sponsors may look up the history for you. Your local Merc Tech may charge a couple hours labor to go over the engine, cheap insurance against a 15K motor! When you find a good local mechanic ask what kinds of aftermarket warranties they honor if any. If they honor some then you can shop around for a price on motor warranty if it checks out good now. Todd Morgan is normally tough to beat on these warranty prices.
Take your time, and good luck!

If every thing checks out motor and etc. that is one good deal. I owe more than that on mine, a bit more, sounds like a good deal. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
