I need some opinions, do you have to run the Mercury opti oil in an opti max or can you use the Mercury performance plus or lesser?
My first OPti was the 99 150 which Namgrunt now owns. They had not invented Opti oil at that point and I was told to use Premium Plus. I now have an 05 opti..and use Prem + . Running great http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
Premium Plus is made to blend with gasoline, Opti oil isn't. ProXS motors specify Premium Plus, Opti oil is fine in regular Optimax.
