Seahorse
SH, Boat is going to the shop to have the 143 degree ETec thermostats installed and the pressure relief valve rubber seats glued to help the low rpm ( eating of the plugs)! My Tec (R&H Marine in Bull Shoals, Ar.) said that he would prefer to install the factory plugs back in engine after the procedure and see how they do........If they don't work out ok then we will go with the QC10WEP Iridium plugs...........Will this be O.K.?.....Engine serial # is05015795....Model # is E200FPLSTM..............Thank you Sir...........Roger http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

Re: Seahorse (519NASCAR)
regular plugs are fine, they just won't last as long as the Iridium sparkplugs, even though the prices are about the same.
Your regular plugs will last longer than before with the thermostat and blow-off valve mods. Ask your tech to test the blow-off valve after glueing the seat using the same procedure as in the E-TEC service bulletin about testing the valve, to make sure the rest of the assembly is OK.
