Neat idea. However I doubt you meet the coast guard requirements with that setup.

Pretty sure those are illegal here... Must be above the motor at all times. Must be seen 360* with a certain visibility with non directional light. I do like the idea, But maybe a better choice would be to have them wrap around the motor. :smile: Or one of these. I have been considering one as well as I night fish a lot and hate the long pole and inconvenience of install and storing it.
