Please help with 96 225 evinrude
After reading some other post on here I am wandering if my motor might be getting to hot. The water pressure is good but when I pick the boat up at the ramp and wash hands in the water from pee hole it is almost to hot to keep your hand in it. Is this normal or should I consult a mechanic.

When you are draining the motor of the H20 that is left in it you will be "bleeding off" all the residual heat from the motor that it has built up. Remember, the loopers hold a lot of H20 in the block and all that heat is transferred to the H20 coming out. As long as your pressure is good then don't sweat it. You will get an overheat warning if it is too hot. CM http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/pimp2.gif
