Water pressure gauge... where to attach on 2000 Johnson Ocean Pro
I thought it was supposed to attach to the tell-tale tube, but mine doesn't have a tell-tale tube. Can I connect one to one of the hoses on the poppet valve or the thermostats?
Thanks.

Nope look at the starboard side of the motor at the junction of the PH and mid section you will see an allen head bolt. Remove it and that is where it installs.

Thanks! I'll look tonight.

OK, I got home a little late and it is later than I anticipated...
I can't see any allen bolt on the starboard side where the PH meets the midesection.
This is the only allen head bolt I see, it is located on the port side below the V6:

Is that it? If so, how would I attach this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWD1V
Or this one:

Thanks!

That is the spot, You can pull the plug and get a elbow or a straight thru fitting at your local BRP dealer.

Okay, I was trying to find the shift linkage, and now I do see an allen bolt on the starboard side of the midsection about 1/4" from the lower cowling gasket (about 1/4" below the powerhead). Is that also a spot to attach the elbow fitting? (BTW, the elbow fitting should be here tomorrow.)
Thanks!

Nope use the spot you circled in the pix that is where it goes. just put a wrap of teflon tape on the threads. Have fun http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif .

Hey! I finally got around to installing this. (Don't ask!)
Anywho, it was as easy as can be. And, it works great. I haven't run it on the water yet, but I see the pressure build-up when flushing through the flush port.
