Got my new Blazer ... comments please?
Well, I went down to Pensacola and picked up my new Blazer 210 ProV DC with a Merc 250XS & Bob's 10" hyd. plate on July 31. Spent Aug. 1 down at Grammer Marine gettin' everything rigged up and ready. I've finally got a couple of hours of runtime behind me and so far I have been pretty impressed with this boat. Today I got some more runtime in and thought I'd post some performance numbers for y'alls information and comments.
Best run of the day with an average "tournament load".
Air temp - 91
Surface water temp - 91.5
Prop - 27 Tempest
Speed (GPS) - 77.1
RPM - 5900
Propshaft at 1" below pad
Any suggestions or comments?

Keep an eye on the water pressure and raise the plate. I would start doing some prop testing. you just might find a prop that will run better then the tempest.
If you are looking for a great fishing prop then I would try a bravo that has large vent hole. A bravo with out the vent holes will be a dog out of the hole.

Don't forget to get it right before you bring it to Holt. Remember I still haven't done anything since initial set up, so if you break 83.5 loaded I will spend the money. All kidding aside congrats and let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Just wait it gets better the longer you drive it.

do not forget to remember water pressure

Congratulations on the NEW BLAZER HeavyG. I'm in the Learn all I can Mode also., so not alot of help here from me. Listen to Spider and Vyper. I will be raising my motor and running it tomorrow morning. I'm at 3/4 inch below pad and anticipate being able to take it even or alittle above. Water presure was my problem. New Bob's big foot has taken care of that. Raise it and run it. I'm looking forward to some cooler weather this fall. Central Tx heat and humidity is a killer on top end. Florida's not much better. Have fun and enjoy!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
