I was thinking about getting the kit for my 300hpdi as well, so would like to hear what some of the guys that have them say.
Paul, it is funny...I emailed crazy elvis ealier for some numbers and I mentioned that I would like to get some made (different colors) that are like the ones on your boat.
I think their worth the buck, but the yam warranty is what stops me. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif any issue with motor they will blame on hop up and warranty will be null and void they don't play but if you got the bucks let it rip. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
I can tell you from experience the Hydro Tech kit RIPS! Talk with your servicing dealer to see if he'll help you if trouble comes.
If I were a paying boater, I'd sure have it!
Yeah but if it was your customers boat would you warranty it?????...... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
Todd, I have spoken with Hydro Tech about the kits, but prefer to speak with people that have used a product before, not saying that hydro tech lied, but like real world numbers. Have you seen what it will do to the 300hpdi? Just trying to see what speed I would be looking at with the kit. I have heard peopele say they have gained anywhere from 6-11mph. Not sure if that is a believable figure or not. Anyway, if you have any, or anyone else has any input would like to hear it.
Listen to Todd. Your dealer will mean everything. With my Phase II kit i went from turning a 27 pitch prop at limiter to turning a 30 and 31 pitch 6200-6300. It is worth every penny. BTW- I have the big bore intake installed now too.
trying to be the first Blazer to get 100mph Greg? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif
LOL...I'll never run it light enough to see triple digits.
Definitely worth the money. And the guy's at Hydro tech are a class acts http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif. I blew my powerhead last spring. So I Hauled my boat 8hr to Hydro tech had them build a new powerhead with mods I didn't go the full phase 2, but what a difference. With the old motor I could run 66mph gps with 2 people and a full T load. With the new motor I seen my best loaded speed so far this past weekend it was 73mph gps with 2 people and a full T load.
nsteere CE does a really good job http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
I'm going to run with this.. I'm going to get the Phase II and big bore.. GE I sent you a IM..
Thanks..

JMO, I'd get the baddest Phase kit they make. That way, there's know saying "man, I should've got the Phase III instead of Phase II". http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
